FOOD ASSISTANCE
We provide food assistance to families and the homeless throughout the year.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We provide school supplies and a book bag to each student at our School Drives each year in York County and the surrounding areas.
EDUCATION
We work with young adults to identify institutions of higher learning, complete entrance applications, secure financial aid.
Our Mission
H.O.P.E. (HELPING OTHERS PROGRESS THROUGH EDUCATION) is a charitable and educational organization whose mission is to educate, empower, and support children and young adults in the local community of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Summer Feeding Sponsorship
During the summer of 2019, H.O.P.E. served 25,384 free summer meals at 25 sites all over York County. Between June 8th and August 7th, we will serve at least 22,500 children. This year, we have 11 sites that will serve 500 children Monday-Friday for 45 days. Please consider becoming one of our sponsors or donate food.
School Drive Sponsorship
Since 2013 H.O.P.E. has provided over 2,000 book bags and school supplies to children in low income areas in York County and surrounding areas. This year we are Please consider becoming a sponsor or donate book bags or school supplies.
Careers
Together we can make a difference!
Driver
Drivers are required to count meals and drop off food at the Summer Feeding Service Program site locations that Helping Others Progress through Education non-profit sponsors. Our drivers make sure meals are delivered in a timely manner.
Monitor
Monitors are critical to the successful operation of the Summer Feeding Service Program sites. They are the “eyes and ears,” providing valuable feedback about how the sites are operating by visiting sites on a regular basis and observing meal services.
Site Supervisor
Site Supervisors are assigned to a Summer Feeding Service Program site that Helping Others Progress through Education non-profit sponsors and are required to stay on that site for the entire meal service. They plan and organize daily site activities and hand out meals to the children at that location.
