Description:
Drivers are required to count meals and drop off food at the Summer Feeding Service Program site location that Helping Others Progress through Education non-profit sponsors. Our drivers make sure meals are delivered in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
• Attend sponsor training
• Ensure civil rights is properly implemented
• Stay at the site for the entire meal service
• Inform Director or Assistant Director of field trips
• Have communication with Director or Assistant Director for changes in meal service
• Pack and count meals
• Drop off meals
• Ensure safe and sanitary conditions at the site
• Ensure the safety of food, and comply with local health and safety standards
• Ensure that children eat all meals on site
• Receive and account for delivered meals
Requirement Details:
• Must have a GED or high school diploma
• A valid South Carolina driver’s license for at least 1 year
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No DUIs or drug related driving offenses in the last 7 years
• Valid personal auto insurance that meets or exceeds state requirements
• 4-door vehicle
• A/C and heat must work
• Must have patience and be able to relate well with children
• Strong time management skills and work ethic
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams
• Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
