ROCK HILL, S.C. (CN2 NEWS) – The rain and cold weather did not stop volunteers from passing out hundreds of boxes full of fresh food to give to families in need this holiday season.

Good Folks of York County gathered for its annual banquet Wednesday with the hope of raising $85,000. The recipients are Family Promise of York County, the Rock Hill Parks Foundation and Helping Others Progress Through Education, or H.O.P.E.

Our founder, Tashica Thompson was awarded the Come-See-Me-Merit Award in 2022!

Rock Hill not-for-profit H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Progress Through Organization) are sponsoring York County's program. Last year, more than 1,000 children a day were served throughout the county. The program serves children age 18 and younger.
