ABOUT THE PROJECT
H.O.P.E. (Helping Others Progress Through Education) strive to feed the homeless and children through the year. We organize events throughout the year to feed the homeless in Rock Hill, SC and Charlotte, NC.
We also participate in the South Carolina Department of Education (Summer Food Service Program for Children (SFSP). Meals are provided to all eligible children for free at designated locations. Acceptance and participation requirements for the program are the same regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
We participate in the SFSP program in Rock Hill, SC during the summer and we give out food to low income families and the homeless throughout the year.
DONATE & MAKE A DIFFERENCE
During the summer of 2019, H.O.P.E. served 25,384 free summer meals at 25 sites all over York County. Between June 8th and August 7th, we will serve at least 22,500 children. This year, we have 11 sites that will serve 500 children Monday-Friday for 45 days. Please consider becoming one of our sponsors or donating supplies.
MAKE A DONATION
Donations help us purchase food, school supplies, book bags, and help young adults go off to college.
BE A VOLUNTEER
Volunteering will help us be able to make a difference in our communities in York County and the surrounding areas. We rely on our volunteers to help prepare, package, and deliver school supplies and meals with love throughout the year.
