H.O.P.E. is a charitable and educational organization whose mission is to educate, empower, and support children and young adults in the local community of Rock Hill, South Carolina. Many children receiving free and reduced-priced meals through the school Breakfast and National School Lunch Program are at risk of hunger during the summer. Lack of nutrition during the summer months make students more likely to fall behind during the school year and experience health issues.

During the summer of 2019, we served 25,384 free summer meals at 25 sites all over York County. Between June 8, 2020 and August 14, 2020, we served at least 20,000 meals. In 2020 and 2021, we served 8 sites from the help of our sponsors!
This year, we have 4 sites that will serve 75 kids per day Monday-Friday for 52 days.
